Meet the Artist - Marion Kratky

Please join us on Wednesday, October 10th from 5-7 pm for an artist-sponsored "Meet the Artist" reception with Marion Kratky, currently showing her work in the Community Gallery of the Regional Art Galleries at the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library. Living in Northville, NY, and working primarily in oil, Marion’s focus has been on landscapes of the Adirondacks. She offers a rich color palette, bold brushwork and a strong sense of light which leads to works that are uniquely her own. Her current work explores her impressions of the natural landscape and is informed by the Adirondacks and other places observed firsthand. The show runs through Wednesday, October 17th and is free to the public.

Admission to the reception is free. For more information, email Mary Beth Vought or call (518) 673-2314.
