Everlasting Moments
Filmmaker Jan Troell based this Golden Globe-nominated drama on a manuscript written by his wife, Agneta Ulfsäter-Troell, chronicling the events of her ancestors in the early 20th century. The film focuses on Finnish born Maria who is married to an alcoholic dockworker. Maria's difficult life is transformed when she begins to take pictures with a camera she won in a lottery.
