Let's Talk Art: Women Artists in the Arkell Museum Permanent Collection

Celebrate Women's History Month with a great program all about the women artists of the Arkell Museum collection.

Join Curator of Education and Public Engagement, Mary Alexander, as she takes a closer look at women artists such as Mary Cassatt, Harriet Frishmuth, Beth Van Hoesen, Anna Hyatt Huntington, and Joellyn Duesberry.
This talk will focus on their contributions to the art world and the Arkell Museum collection.

Galentine’s Day Wine Bottle Painting

Happy Galentine's Day!

Join us for another wine bottle painting event!

Stop by and paint a Valentine's Day design that you can give as a gift to your platonic life partner or romantic significant other.

The event is FREE and at 2:00 pm on February 12th, all supplies included, registration is required.

Masks are required to attend this in-person event.

Teen and Tween Drop-In Valentine’s Day Bag Decorating

FREE Three-day Drop-in craft for teens and tweens! February 10 -13th, all day!

Grab the teens and their friends and stop by the classroom on February 10th, 11th, and 12th and make a unique Valentine's Day tote bag.
Use fabric markers to create your own design.

Not intended for young children - ages 8 and up welcome, masks are required.
