This group is for parents and guardians of LGBTQ+ identifying young people.
Come talk with other parents, ask questions, and learn more about the LGBTQ+ community.
This group will meet once a month.
Masks strongly recommended.
We will:
Provide information and resources, and help answer questions about LGBTQIA+ topics
Discuss how to be adult advocates for queer youth
Be a safe space for open learning about gender identity.
Share experiences with other parents about their LGBTQIA+ child

Summer Reading Program: Movement Storytime with Beth Jacobs
Join us for a special Summer Reading Storytime series with Beth Jacobs.
This program is for children aged 4-11, family groups welcome.
Movement and music teacher Beth uses library books and world music to inspire kids to interact and imagine.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate to help children feel more comfortable.

The mission of the Arkell Museum at Canajoharie and the Canajoharie Library is to promote and celebrate the understanding and enjoyment of the arts and humanities in Canajoharie, the Mohawk Valley, and beyond.
The Arkell Museum collects, preserves, researches and presents American Art and Mohawk Valley History, and promotes active participation in art and history related activities, to enhance knowledge, appreciation and personal exploration by all.
