Winter Break LEGO Adventure

Looking for something to do with the kids this winter break?

Stop into the Canajoharie Library and Arkell Museum for our Winter Break Lego Adventure February 22 - 25th!
Drop into the classroom and use our extensive LEGO collection to create your own unique design and you just might win a prize! Remember to stop by the front desk and let staff photograph your creation - at the end of the week we will declare a winner of the Lego Adventure.

Amelia Earhart: Beech-Nut and Beyond!

Join Arkell Museum's Curator of Education, Mary Alexander, and Allison Balderrama, Museum Director of the Amelia Earhart Hangar Museum as they explore the life of Amelia Earhart.

Mary Alexander will discuss Amelia Earhart's work with the Beech-Nut Packing Co. The Arkell Museum holds a variety of pictures and objects related to the marketing campaigns Earhart did for Beech-Nut.

Allison Balderrama will discuss the new Amelia Earhart Hanger Museum. She will also speak about Earhart's legacy to aviation and women's history.

This is a Free Zoom event.
