Painting with Patrice

Join us in the Great Hall of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library on April 11, 2024, at 2 pm for Painting with Patrice. Registration is requested for this program.

Patrice will walk us step by step through painting a beautiful purple petunia. In this class we will practice conveying the essence of a flower through color and shape.

Patrice’s guided 2-hour acrylic painting workshops are for those who would like to explore and learn painting techniques in a fun, positive and encouraging environment. All participants will bring home a finished piece on a small, stretched canvas, no framing necessary. Beginners and artists of all levels and ages enjoy this class. All supplies are provided.

Patrice has been part of the arts community for over 25 years. She has worked as a photographer, calligrapher, sign painter, and teaching artist. Throughout her career she has taught art to all ages and is presently the Teaching Artist at the World Awareness Children’s Museum in Glens Falls NY. Patrice’s focus is to educate through art and instill an appreciation of the arts.
