Resume Support

Join us for a new monthly program Resume Support on second Thursdays of each month at 11:00 in the classroom. This program is led by our Library Director and is designed to give you one-on-one assistance in drafting, organizing, and polishing your resume. We can also help with cover letters, references, and communication techniques.

Please bring your current resume and a laptop if you have one. Laptops are not required, we have a few that can be used during the program. If you know where you are applying bring the information with you or have it accessible on your phone or computer.

This program is free. Space is limited and registration is requested.

Guest Star Gallery Tour with Karen Quinn

Join us on April 6th at 2 pm for a Guest Star Gallery Tour with Karen Quinn of the New York State Museum.
Karen is a Senior Historian/Curator, Art and Culture at the State Museum who wrote her master's thesis on Winslow Homer wood engravings, offering us a unique perspective on these works. She will also share her love of Winslow Homer wood engravings as she takes us on a tour of the Arkell Museum’s exhibition Winslow Homer Wood Engravings: The Shirley Brand Collection.

All Ages Spring Break LEGO Building Contest

Visit the classroom between April 2-5th for an all day, drop-in, LEGO Building contest.

All entries will be displayed in the adult fiction section of the Library from April 9 – 12th for voting in person and on Facebook.

The winner will receive a prize!

This is a FREE program. All ages are welcome to participate.
