Wild Music with Anita Sanchez

From coyotes to owls to frogs, animals make some amazing sounds! In this program, we'll learn about the ways animals communicate. We’ll join the frog chorus, learn how to hoot like an owl, and participate in a coyote symphony. We’ll meet some of the singers in person by studying live crickets.

In this fun, hands-on program, kids K-5 will learn about animal communication. The program includes lots of participation, a close-up look at real crickets, and a short reading from Anita’s latest book, Wait Till It Gets Dark: A Kid’s Guide to Exploring the Night.

This free program is open to students and their families and is part of the Canajoharie Library 2018 Summer Reading Program. For more information, call 518-673-2314, email Library Director Hannah Stahl, or email Curator of Education & Public Engagement Jenna Peterson Riley.
