Understanding and Attracting Visitors to the Canalway Corridor

Who visits the 500-mile Erie Canalway Corridor? What attracts them? What kinds of activities do they engage in? And what they think of their experience? The Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor recently released results from a visitor research study that answers those questions and sheds light on current and prospective visitors to the 500-mile Canalway Corridor. Join us for a presentation of the research findings by Jean Mackay, Erie Canalway Director of Communications and Outreach. The presentation will be followed by a round-table discussion of its relevance to Mohawk Valley tourism promoters, businesses and heritage sites seeking to attract and serve visitors, including boaters, cyclists, sightseers and vacationers.

RSVP to Fulton Montgomery Regional Chamber of Commerce Director of Toursim Gina DaBiere-Gibbs
