Make a Suffrage Sash

Come learn more about New York's suffragists and the sashes they wore to protest for their cause, then try your hand at making your own! Tour through the exhibit "'Truth is the Only Safe Ground to Stand Upon': Portraits of New York State Suffragists by Christine Heller" for inspiration! This program is open to all ages, and you are welcome to make a sash for any cause you care about!

This is a free program, but donations are always welcome. For more information, contact Curator of Education & Public Engagement Jenna Peterson Riley at jriley@arkellmuseum.org or (518) 673-2314 x 113.
