The Eight and American Impressionism at the Arkell Museum

Join us via Zoom at 11 am on February 12th as Mary Alexander, Curator of Education at the Arkell Museum, will use the Arkell Museum's fine art collection to discuss the role of The Eight- a group of young influential American artists that broke away from the academy and exhibited art on their own terms. She will also look at American Impressionism and the role of The Eight in bringing American Impressionism to the public eye.
