#5WomenArtists Tour

Celebrate National Women's History Month with us and take up the challenge of the National Museum of Women in the Arts and see if you can name #5WomenArtists. We're happy to add to your list by showing you and talking about some of the fantastic female artists represented in the collection here at the Arkell Museum, and one of our female founders, Louisanna Grigsby Arkell.

Artists included in the tour will vary depending upon group interest and current exhibitions. Come see work by artists including Beth Van Hoesen, Harriet Whitney Frishmuth, Joelynn Duesberry, Lauren Ford. We'll also talk about some of the rarely exhibited works on paper by artists Mary Cassatt, Georgia O’Keefe, Anna Mary Robertson (Grandma) Moses, and more.

This tour is free to the public, and donations are welcome. For more information, contact Curator of Education & Public Engagement Jenna Peterson Riley or call (518) 673-2314.
