Activities for the Whole Family
Family Discovery Days are held at the Arkell Museum and offer something for every member of the family!
Past family days have featured:
- Musician and storyteller Tom Hanford, who performed Chimneyside Tales: Stories of Old New England & New York. Hanford held a pre-concert mask workshop and participants used their masks to join in with Hanford during his performance.
- The renowned Catskill Puppet Theater, which performed their acclaimed version of Hiawatha, a story of a young Iroquois boy in the Mohawk Valley region. Families created stick and sock puppets in a drop-in workshop.
